Day1

Depart for the Airport this morning and connect to Kenyan Airlines flight departing 12:50pm and arrive in Kigali 1:10pm. Met and transferred to the Kigali InterContinental Hotel. Meals: B only.

DAY 2

Morning tour of the Genocide Museum. Early afternoon departure for the drive (about 2 2/1 hours) to Lake Kivu to overnight at the Lake Kivu Inter Continental Hotel. Meals: B only.

DAY 3

First day of trekking the mountain gorillas. To arrive at the entrance of the park is about 1 ½ hrs drive. The trek will take anywhere from 3-5 hours, or sometimes even more. Meals: B and picnic L only.

DAY 4

Day of rest, which is welcomed after the strenuous climb the prior day. Enjoy the activities available at this beautiful Hotel property. Meals: B only.

DAY 5

Second day of trekking the mountain gorillas. Return to the Lake Kivu Hotel upon completion of the trek. Meals: B and picnic L only.

DAY 6

Mid-morning return drive to Kigali with the afternoon at leisure. Kigali Inter-Cont Hotel Meals: B only

DAY 7

Depart Kigali via Kenyan Airlines flight #473 at 9:00a and arrive in Nairobi at 11:20a. Met and transferred to the Hilton Hotel for Day Room registration. A visit to the Carnivore Restaurant for lunch followed by a visit to Karen for a shopping experience. Depart Nairobi at 11: 15p via KLM'
