DAY 1 Nairobi

We arrive in Nairobi and transfer to the luxurious Serena Hotel or Norfolk Hotel. After lunch, we shall take a city tour and see the city market, the Parliament, and the National Museum. Dinner on your own. Bed and Breakfast.

DAY 2 Nairobi - Sweet Waters

After breakfast, we depart for northern Kenya driving through lush tea and coffee plantations in the heart of Kikuyu land. We arrive at luxurious Sweetwaters Tented Camp in time for lunch. After lunch we go for an afternoon game drive in this private 110,000acre ranch and the site of Jane Goodall's Chimpanzee sanctuary. Many different animals can be seen here, including giraffe, Zebra buffalo, elephant, onyx, eland and other big game. Meals and overnight at sweet waters.

DAY 3 & 4 Samburu

After breakfast at Sweetwaters Tented Camp, we drive further north to Samburu Game Reserve arriving in time for lunch. We spend TWO DAYS viewing Samburu's typically "northern" game: Somali Ostrich, Gravy Zebra, long necked Gerenuk, Reticulated giraffe, and their predators including the most elusive of cats, the leopard. Morning and afternoon game drives. Overnight and all meals at Serena Lodge.

DAY5 Samburu - Tree Hotel (Mount Lodge)

After breakfast we drive south to Aberdare Mountain Ranges arriving at the base hotel, the Aberdare Country Club, in time for lunch. After lunch we drive to the Tree Hotel, The Ark, built high over the trees and overlooking a waterhole where forest animals gather to lick the salt and drink water. All night game viewing. Dinner and overnight at Mount Lodge’ Tree Tops / The Ark.

DAY6 Aberdare - Lake Nakuru

After breakfast at the Ark, we drive west past the Aberdare Mountain Ranges, descend the escarpment into the scenic Rift Valley and arrive at Lake Nakuru, justly famous for millions of flamingos. Lunch and afternoon game drive. There are over 250 species of birds and so many pink flamingos that the lake looks pink. This highly fertile park is home to a variety of big game, including Rhino, Leopard, and Rothschild’s Giraffe. Lunch, game drive, and dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge.

DAY 7, 8, & 9 Masai Mara

After early morning breakfast, we depart through the scenic forests and wheat fields of Mau Nook Plateau and the Masai Loita plains. We arrive at Keekorok Lodge in time for lunch and afternoon game drive. We spend TWO tableaus days of game viewing in this Northern extension of the famous Serengeti National Park. The park boasts large herds of Wildebeests, Elephants, Buffalo, Rhinos, Lions, hyena, and other numerous plain animals. Morning and afternoon game drives. Three nights and all meals at Keekorok Logde.

DAY 10 Nairobi

After breakfast fly to Nairobi with lunch at Nairobi. In the afternoon, we shall take a tour of Karen Blixen Museum (author of "Out of Africa) and Kazuri beads industry. Dinner on your own. Overnight and breakfast at Serena.

DAY 11 Arusha - Lake Manyara

After breakfast, we drive South to Tanzania arriving in Arusha for lunch. Arusha is the starting point for Safari to Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti, perhaps two most incredible animal strongholds in the world. Alter lunch we drive to Lake Manyara arriving in time for the late afternoon game drive. Lake Manyara has a marvellous concentration of wildlife as well as 350 species of birds. This park is famous for its tree-climbing lions and many pink flamingos. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Serena. Early morning game drive. Breakfast and lunch at Lake Manyara Serena.

DAY 12 & 13 Ngorongoro Crater

After lunch we drive through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands to the crater, arriving in time for afternoon tea. Overnight at the wildlife Lodge or Ngorongoro Serena Lodge. All meals. Second day after breakfast we take a picnic lunch and descend into the crater by a Land Rover belonging to the lodge. Descending 2,000 ft. to the floor of the Crater, we enter a spectacular wildlife sanctuary in this vast "Garden of Aden". Africa's highest concentration of lions resides here. Other predators include cheetah, hyena, and jackals. Numerous plains game are drawn to the year-round grazing afforded by the crater's permanent lake. All day game viewing at the crater floor. Overnight and all meals at Serena lodge.

DAY 14 & 15 Serengeti

After breakfast depart for Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge, the site of Leakeys' archaeological findings and the oldest human fossils, "Zinjanthropus". The 5,000 square miles of Serengeti boasts more than 35 species of plains animals and about 450 species of colourful birds. The wildlife moves on the great migration to Kenya around July and back in late September. However, both Serengeti and Masai Mara offer excellent game viewing throughout the year. Two days of game viewing drives at Serengeti. Overnight and all meals at Serengeti Serena Lodge.

DAY 16 Serengeti – Arusha - Nairobi

After breakfast we FLY to Arusha arriving in time for lunch. After lunch transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport to connect with your flight to Nairobi departing at l400hrs. On arrival at l445hrs you will be met and transferred to your hotel for day rooms till 1800 hrs when you will be picked and taken to Carnivore Restaurant for dinner. Afterwards transfer to Airport to connect with homeward flight.
