Contract variations The contractual rates mentioned in this agreement are subject to change without prior notice; however, every effort will be made to maintain them. In the event of a change in Government Taxes or Levies affecting the rates mentioned herein, SAFARI PARTNERS serves the right to pass on any increases to you, Tour Operator or a client. Payment Policy A deposit of 30% is required at the time of booking. The balance is due 35 days before commencement of the tour program. If the reservation is made within 45 days of departure the whole amount must be paid at the time of confirmation. Cancellation Policy All cancellations must be received in writing. As all suppliers charge cancellation fees, they are in turn passed on to us. Reservations that are cancelled, reduced in length of stay or reduced in number of occupancy are subject to cancellation and no-show fees. Following is the scale for cancellation charges. - 35% if cancelled between 45 and 35days prior to arrival
- 50% if cancelled between 34 and 15 days prior to arrival.
- 100'% if cancelled 14 days and 24hours prior to arrival
Itinerary Changes: Although every effort is made to adhere to schedules, it should be noted that the hoteliers in East Africa may be obliged to occasionally change routes on safaris as dictated by changing conditions. Such conditions may be brought about by seasonal rainfall on bush tracks, airfields and in game areas, by game migrations from one region to another, or airline or other booking problems, etc. Safari Partners will communicate with you for such itinerary or accommodation changes. TANZANIA Ngorongoro Crater service fee possible increase Ngorongoro Crater entry fee is subject to increase by US$ 100 per vehicle as of 01 July 2007. However, the issue is still being discussed by Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authorities, and therefore nothing has been decided so far. Therefore, we suggest that you protect yourself by the proposed amount, US$ 100 per vehicle, for Ngorongoro crater tour on each program with crater tour to cover the possible increase. - Flying Doctor services while on Safari, in case of emergency
Prices do not include: - Airport or border transfers - unless stated otherwise on the itinerary

- Inoculations and personal insurance
- Any internal flights and departure taxes unless indicated
- International flights and departure taxes
- Optional activities and excursions
- Items of a personal nature such as beverages, telephone, postage etc
- Holiday (Christmas, Easter) and other seasonal surcharges - please see the details separately
Per person rate (P/Pax): This is the cost of one client sharing a twin or double room with another Single Room Supplement (SRS): Should a client wish to have a room to themselves, this supplement should be added to the "per person sharing" rate. Tipping: Tips are not included in the costs but we are indicating a schedule which could be used as a guide by the guests should they wish to tip the staff on appreciation of services rendered. Recommended tip upto: - Waiters: US$ 1-2 per table per meal (lunch and dinner)
- Porters: US$ 1-2 for 2 guests per porter
- Driver/Guide: US$ 5 - 8 per person per day
Baggage: Baggage allowance for domestic flights is 15kgs per person including hand luggage. Soft-sided luggage or duffels arc preferable to hard luggage for storage on safari vehicles and aircrafts used within East Africa. Large suitcases of dimensions greater than 24”x 17”x 7” are impossible to store in vehicles and on aircraft and should not be used. (Baggage and personal effects are at owner's risk throughout the tour and baggage insurance for members is strongly advised). Accommodation: The quote is expressed as per person sharing a double room and a supplement for single room occupation has also been shown. The rate includes accommodation based on the hotels and lodges mentioned in the program using standard rooms. Please be advised that the maximum singles the lodges can give is 4. The rest have are charged as doubles. |
