Day 1 Nairobi - Nakuru - Naivasha

Shortly after leaving Nairobi the vast panorama of the Great Rift Valley unfolds below you and there are splendid stopping places from which to photograph this entrancing speckle. Cross the Valley floor to reach Lake Nakuru National Park, world renowned for its spectacle of millions of flamingo. The Park is rich in other birdlife and there are a surprising number of animals in this small and beautiful reserve. Overnight at Simba Lodge - Naivasha

Day 2 Naivasha - Masai Mara

There is a chance to view the beauty of Lake Naivasha, with its varied birdlife, before driving across the plains to reach the Masai Mara National Reserve in time for lunch. Afternoon game viewing will doubtless offer the sight of the huge black-manned lions for which the Mara is justly famous. Overnight at a Simba lodge.

Day 3 Masai Mara

The day is spent watching and photographing game in this the finest of Kenya's game sanctuaries.

Day 4 Masai Mara - Nairobi

After breakfast return to Nairobi which is reached by lunchtime.
